The General Assembly passed 211 pieces of
legislation over the last two years.
Integrity Matters
Shawn Still
was indicted with Donald Trump for being a fake elector: forging false documents saying
that Donald Trump won Georgia in 2020. He faces seven counts, including
felony counts of impersonating a public officer, forgery, attempting
to file false documents and false statements and writings.
As Shawn Still’s own lawyer admitted, the indictment centers around the fake electors’ meeting on December 14, 2020 that lasted approximately 26 minutes. Whether it takes 26 minutes or 26 seconds, a crime is a crime — and Shawn Still must face accountability for his attempt to overturn the 2020 election results.
On December 12, 2020, Still sued Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, trying to overturn GA's election results. He continued to spread conspiracy theories, including in 2022 claiming baselessly that "the election had been stolen" and that he was "very proud" of his lawsuit against the Secretary of State.
Issues
Gas Mowers
Shawn Still's landmark piece of legislation? Not affordable housing, or funding our public schools — but the LEAF Act, which outlaws regulations that treat gas-powered leaf blowers differently than other, similar tools.
Issues
Healthcare
Shawn Still has refused to vote to expand Medicaid, even though Medicaid expansion would cover healthcare for hundreds of thousands of poor Georgians and reduce healthcare costs for all.
Issues
Campaign Finance
Shawn Still continues to take money from corporations and corporate PACs, and he poured $300,000 of his own money into his last campaign.
